Bronwen is an experienced midwife who has worked across maternity services including inpatient services caring for women and their families in the labour ward, birth centre, antenatal and postnatal ward. Additionally, she has worked in community services providing care in antenatal and postnatal clinics and home visits. She has also managed and facilitated the educational activities for student midwives and provided mentorship and guidance as a Clinical Placement Facilitator. Her most recent role as a Quality Improvement Midwife saw her leading on continuous improvement in the maternity department.
Working to improve services and health and wellbeing outcomes for all women and their families accessing services. In this role she managed the reviews for the Perinatal Mortality Review Tool (PMRT) and the Maternal and Neonatal Health Safety Collaborative work towards reducing neonatal hypoglycaemia, to improve health outcomes for infants.
