Dr Andrew Combeer

Andrew Combeer qualified from St George’s Hospital Medical School in London in 1995. He trained as an anaesthetist on the South West London anaesthetic rotation and commenced as a consultant anaesthetist in 2009, initially as a locum consultant at St George’s before taking up a substantive post at Epsom & St Helier University Hospital NHS Trust in August 2009.

He is currently lead for obstetric anaesthesia at St Helier Hospital and also has interests in renal and emergency anaesthesia and medical education. He also is lead for the delivery of the undergraduate anaesthesia curriculum for student s rotating from St George’s, University of London. He is Guardian of Safe Working for junior doctors in training working within the Trust.

In his role as obstetric anaesthesia lead he has chaired and participated in serious incident investigation panels.
