Dr Anita Banerjee
I qualified from King’s College University, London, and trained in Endocrinology and Diabetes and Obstetric Medicine. I have worked as a consultant since 2009.
My main interests include medical problems in pregnancy and education. I have been involved in developing the maternity enhanced critical care standards and the new update on the Managing Obstetric Emergencies and Training (MOET). Other responsibilities include chapter writing and being an assessor for MBRRACE.
I am a member of the UKOSS committee and an active member of the London Strategic Clinical network member of the London group for Maternal Mortality and Morbidity. I am passionate regarding safety in healthcare and improving safety through education. I have developed a multidisciplinary simulation course on medical emergencies on obstetrics for trainees, midwives and consultants.
