Dr Michael Hall
I have had the honour of being employed as a consultant paediatrician and neonatologist in the NHS for over 30 years; I was Lead Neonatologist at the Princess Anne Hospital, Southampton, for much of this time and I have also served as Clinical Director for the hospital-based Paediatric Services in Southampton. I am a past member of the Executive Committee of the British Association for Perinatal Medicine and a former Chair of the RCPCH/RCN UK Committee for Children and Young Persons’ Nursing. I recently retired from clinical work but I have ongoing involvement in the education and training of nurses and doctors who look after new-born babies, both nationally and internationally. I am also currently an Assessor for the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) (London) and an examiner for the MRCPCH clinical examinations. I have had previous involvement in enquiries, investigations and service evaluations at a number of UK paediatric and neonatal units.
