Lynn Bayes

Lynn has been a qualified midwife for over 20 years. She currently works as a Senior Midwifery Matron within the NHS, a role that includes clinical practice and management covering antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care.

She has been an independent registrant panel member at the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) for over 4 years and a Care Quality Commission (CQC) assessor which has strengthened her understanding of many aspects of care and systemic concerns.

In 2022, Lynn was awarded the Chief Midwifery Officers Silver award for her services to midwifery, an award that she feels honoured to receive.
