Monika Mills

Monika is a qualified midwife and a nurse with an extensive clinical and leadership experience, and has worked in the NHS since 2007. She has had a diverse midwifery career  as a High Risk Midwife, Delivery Suite Team Leader, Antenatal Clinic Manager, Antenatal  and Newborn Screening Coordinator and Patient Safety Midwife. Monika has moved to West Sussex to pursue her interest and passion in leading teams to achieve their best potential in service user safety in the NHS setting. She is currently a Lead Midwife for Clinical Governance across two NHS hospital sites. Her passion is to identify themes and learning from incidents and to drive improvement to positively affect all patient and service users safety and experience.

Monika believes in empowering teams and individuals to achieve their best potential in their workplace through teamwork, collaboration and involvement of all staff in championing service user safety.
