Dr Kate Fletcher

Dr Kate Fletcher is a senior anaesthetic registrar. Her undergraduate studies include a medical degree from the University of Manchester and a BSc in international health at the University of Leeds.

Kate’s anaesthetic training is in South London which has afforded the opportunity to work in multiple obstetric units including those in both leading teaching and busy district general hospitals.

She has a special interest in obstetric anaesthesia and is currently completing an advanced training module in obstetric anaesthesia at St George’s University NHS Foundation Trust.

Her main passion is to help women have the best possible  and safest birth experience. To this end she has authored trust guidelines, led on quality improvement projects, and recently completed a multi-professional course at King’s College London on the Essentials of Obstetric Medicine.
