Dr Elisabeth Peregrine
Liz has been a Consultant in Obstetrics and Fetal Medicine at Kingston Hospital in Surrey since 2010. She graduated in Medicine from the University of London (UMDS) in 1993 after obtaining a BSC in Basic Medical Science with Psychology in 1990. She completed her postgraduate training in London and is accredited as a Subspecialist in Maternal Fetal Medicine in. During her training she undertook research on the ‘Use of Ultrasound in Labour’ and obtained an MD in 2007. She was a Consultant at UCLH in London for 3 years before moving to Kingston.
Liz has a broad range of experience in Obstetrics including labour and delivery care, multiple pregnancy and maternal-fetal medicine. She set up the current local Fetal Medicine service at Kingston.
Liz has a passion and commitment to postgraduate and multidisciplinary training with extensive experience in education. She is a Simulation and Human Factor trainer, has been the Co-Lead of Maternity Training for 10 years and was the Obstetrics and Gynaecology College Tutor at Kingston for 4 years. She was awarded the RCOG National Trainer of the year Award in 2018. She is the Trust Careers and Mentoring Lead for Postgraduate Trainees and the Acting Deputy Director of Medical Education.
