Carers Leeds is a citywide charity supporting unpaid carers since 1996. They provide information, guidance and support to adult and parent carers across Leeds, including through their Support Line, one-to-one support, groups, and support in hospitals.

They have a strong presence in health settings. The workers support carers and staff at key points in a patient’s journey, helping identify carers early, offering guidance, and ensuring carers are recognised and involved in care and discharge planning.

They work in partnership with health and social care services to improve outcomes for carers, using their experiences to influence positive change locally and nationally.

Unpaid carers in Leeds can contact Carers Leeds by calling their Support Line on 0113 380 4300 (Mon, Wed, Thu and Fri – 9am – 4.30pm and Tue: 9am – 6.30pm) or by visiting their website, where you can book an appointment, chat to them via webchat, request a callback or email Carers Leeds.
