Review Update
Since the Review started in September 2022, 2,414 families have joined the Review. The next family meeting will take place on Saturday 13 September. Following family feedback, we are taking in to consideration how to best organise the schedule of the day so that it meets a range of family needs. We recognise that attending the meeting may feel difficult, please do consider making contact with the Family Psychological Support Service if you feel as though you need extra support.
The Review Website
We try our very best to keep families updated as frequently as we can, this may be through individual contact, our newsletter, videos, social media, links with local/regional journalists, and through the Review’s website.
The website provides a directory of national and regional support from charities; if there are any charities you would like to see on our website please let us know. Newsletters are uploaded to our website in a range of languages that reflects the diversity of Nottinghamshire. Charity of the Month – Footprints Baby Loss
We are always looking for different ways to support families who are part of the Review. July’s Charity of the Month is Footprints Baby Loss.
Footprints Baby Loss is a bereavement charity that provides vital support to parents and families who experience the death of one or more of their twins or triplets before, during or after birth. They are a charity run by bereaved parents, for bereaved parents. Their support is provided by those who have had first hand experience of twin or triplet loss. They understand the value of having a safe space to be able to communicate with someone who has been through something similar, and provide a kind, caring and inclusive approach with their bereavement services. They provide bereavement support in the form of befriending, online support groups and a private online community group. You can find out more details on their website.
