Family Feedback and publication of the report – what to expect
The below information is relevant to families included within the main part of the Review.
The report will be published in June 2026 (date to be confirmed). The report will outline the Review’s findings, incorporating anonymised analysis from family experiences. Any family whose experience is included within the final report will be contacted to ask for their consent for use. Families will receive correspondence of notification of the final report, with information about how to opt out of receiving Family Feedback.
All families will receive individualised Family Feedback unless they opt out of this process. Family Feedback is the term that we use to describe the communication that you will receive in relation to your specific experience/case. The Feedback will address your experience, and whether this was in line with best practice in place at the time.
Opting out of Family Feedback
We recognise some families may not want to receive their feedback which is perfectly fine. If you do not wish to receive your feedback please opt out. You will be given the opportunity to opt out upon notification of publication.
When will I receive my Family Feedback?
We will aim to send family feedback following publication of the report, up until the end of September 2026. Due to the number of families in the Review, we are not able to share all family feedback at the same time so we expect this to take place over a 3 month period in the order families joined the Review.
Community Engagement – Iftar 25th February
On the 25 February, the Review held an engagement evening at Nottingham Women’s Centre to join with Muslim women and their children for Iftar. The evening was well attended, and provided the Review with the opportunity to meet with many women across Nottinghamshire to show our support and reinstate our commitment to listening to and amplifying all voices.
Family Meeting – Saturday 21st March 2026
The next family meeting will be taking place on Saturday 21st March. We expect to host these family meetings every 8 weeks, to help keep families updated in the lead up to publication (June 2026).
