Amy Pollard

Amy is a qualified nurse, midwife, and health visitor and has worked in a variety of settings over the last 24 years. She has worked in units in Portsmouth, Southampton, Winchester, and Basingstoke in a variety community and acute setting before moving inti safety and governance.

She is currently a patient safety investigator in a large teaching hospital. Before this she was a patient safety manager with an ambulance service, and a governance midwife in a busy teaching hospital.

She has a passion for open, honest and transparent communication and believes wholeheartedly in the patient and family being part of any safety learning event journey. She is devoted to learning from safety and works relentlessly to facilitate high quality standards of care.
