Christy Burden

Dr Christy Burden is an Associate Professor in Obstetrics and Head of the Academic Women’s Health Unit at the University of Bristol. She is also the NIHR Clinical Research Network Lead for Reproductive Health and Childbirth for the West Of England. She is a Consultant Obstetrician at North Bristol NHS Trust, where she leads the maternal medicine service. She is the education lead for the South west Maternal Medicine Network. Her clinical and research interests are in maternal medicine and in improving the management and care of women with chronic diseases and gestational diabetes mellitus.
