Dr Bethan Myers

Bethan is a haematology Consultant at University Hospitals of Leicester. She trained at Cambridge University and Welsh National School of Medicine, qualifying in 1982, so she has 40 years of work experience in the NHS! After junior doctor posts, she has worked as a consultant in the areas of haemostasis, thrombosis and bstetric haematology since 2004, and has published a large number of articles over the years, and has been a regular speaker at national events. She has contributed to several national obstetric haematology guidelines, published by the RCOG and the UKHCDO (Haemophilia society). She is a member of the national haematology obstetric special interest group which is part of the British Society of Haematology.
