Dr David Gibson

Dr David Gibson has been consultant and clinical lead for neonates at Pinderfields Hospital, Wakefield since 2010, having trained in Edinburgh and Yorkshire. Pinderfields is the largest Local Neonatal Unit in Yorkshire, supporting over 6200 annual deliveries. In addition, he has had his own personal experience of being a parent of 28 week gestation twins.

David has extensive experience within his Trust in governance issues, including leading RCA and SI review panels and inquest representation. Most recently, he has worked as one of the neonatal case reviewers for the Ockenden review of Shrewsbury and Telford maternity services, carrying out over 60 reviews.
