Dr Marwan Slalom

Marwan trained in the UK as a specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist and has been a consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist for 21 years with Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust working at Queen Alexandra Hospital which has about 6000 deliveries a year. His job involves the care of high- risk pregnant women and is the lead Obstetrician for Diabetes in Pregnancy.

He has been the Clinical Director for Obstetrics twice has experience in governance issues and has sat in panels investigating cases where outcomes in care have been sub-optimal not just to get to the bottom of the causes but to learn from them.

He is a well-respected senior consultant who is a true advocate of pregnant women under his care. He is experienced, fair, just and unbiased in reviewing cases.
