Mandeep Kaler

I am currently working as a consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with a special interest in maternal medicine and medical education at The Royal London Hospital in East London. I thoroughly enjoy managing pregnant women with complex medical problems and those at risk of developing pregnancy related complications. On receiving my PhD titled ‘An investigation into the Aetiology of Acute Fatty Liver of Pregnancy’ I have developed a growing interest in academia and am pursuing further opportunities in education and research in obstetrics. I have a passion for medical education and have been awarded an PG cert with distinction from Queen Mary University London. I am also a qualified Advanced Life Support instructor and Human factors trainer, which has given me the opportunity to take part in more formal teaching. On a more personal level I have become an active runner and have run four half marathons raising money for several charity’s the aim is to run a full marathon next year.
