Maria Zammit-Mangion

Dr Maria Zammit-Mangion is a Consultant Obstetrician with 10 years’ experience, currently working at Buckinghamshire NHS Trust for the last 7 years. She specialised in advanced training in Maternal Medicine, Diabetes in Pregnancy and Intrapartum care. Currently serving as the Clinical Director and Patient Safety Champion, she is dedicated to improving the quality of care provided to patients. 

During her tenure as labour ward lead, between 2018 and 2022, Maria led investigations for serious incidents, authored detailed reports, and spearheaded quality improvement projects focused enhancing patient safety and experience. Her training includes conducting of safety investigations, human factors and clinical leadership.
