Michelle Wells-Braithwaite

Michelle is a dual-qualified Nurse and Midwife with over two decades of unwavering dedication to enhancing maternity and neonatal care. Her educational background includes a Degree in Midwifery from City University London and a Diploma in Adult Nursing from King’s College. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Quality and Safety in Health Care at the University of Leicester. In her role as a Clinical Governance Manager for Maternity and Neonates at a South London NHS Trust, she has actively shaped clinical governance policies, promoting person-centred care and leading quality improvement initiatives.

Throughout her career, Michelle has consistently supported healthcare professionals, championed patient safety, organised skill-enhancing educational programs, and successfully driven positive change while advocating for the highest standards of maternity and neonatal care.
