Rebecca Savage
Rebecca is a Consultant Midwife at University Hospitals Dorset (UHD) with 20 years of experience across the full maternity care pathway. Having lectured in higher education and been a lead practice educator, she brings a strong academic foundation to her clinical leadership. She trained in Wessex with Health Education England (formerly HEE) as a trainee consultant, gaining a comprehensive oversight of clinical leadership working both regionally and nationally on a variety of projects. Passionate about patient safety, she worked with the Patient Safety Collaborative to improve maternity and neonatal outcomes, specifically for preterm birth. Her work has taken her to South Sudan and Uganda working with linked hospitals.
