Family Meeting – Saturday 21st March
Thank you to all of the families that attended the family meeting on Saturday 21 March. We were joined by: Donna Ockenden (Chair of the Review), Nottinghamshire Police, The Family Psychological Support Service, The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), Zephyr’s, Birth Trauma Association, Aching Arms, Masic, and Sands United FC Nottingham.
Donna Ockenden spoke about the launch of the final report and suggested an agenda for the day, family feedback and meetings with the clinical team, and when families will receive their family feedback. The next family meeting will take place on Saturday 9 May, the first half of the meeting will follow previous schedules with different speakers throughout. The second part of the meeting will be attended by the Trust, as requested by families.
The Final Report
The final report refers to the written document which explains why the Review has taken place, what our findings were, and what improvements the Trust should make.
Will I see the final report before it is published?
We are not able to share the final report with families prior to the launch date. This is to ensure that the messaging that is conveyed to all families is released via one source so that we are able to answer questions that families in the Review may have about the report.
How will I know if what happened to me will be included within the report?
The Review team will make contact with you if we would like to include a summary of what happened to you within the report. This will be anonymised. You will have the opportunity to read this and provide feedback.
Publication and launch
We value family voices and hearing your perspective on what the launch day of the final report will look like. This is your Review and report. Please email nottsreview@donnaockenden.com with your thoughts.
Community Engagement
