Thank you to all of the families who were able to attend the family meeting on Saturday 17th January. Donna Ockenden, Chair of the Review, gave an update on the progress of the Review and provided information on what to expect in the lead up to publication of the report (June 2026). The General Medical Council (GMC) and the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) provided an update on what they have implemented since the last family meeting. We recognise that many families are either not able to attend, or do not feel able to attend the family meetings which is why we are committed to publishing the PowerPoint slides on the Review website so that all families are provided with the same information.
